Zombies, anyone??

The sequel to 2003's "28 Days Later" was just released on DVD this week, and I'll have to admit........ it was a real hoot. The zombies in this movie are fast/vicious buggers too...HeHeHe

If you like the occasional zombie movie......you'll definitely like this one!! For the most part, it's pretty much a nerve wracking mix of high octane action and suspense from beginning to end.

I love horror movies, and although this one wasn't even close to the first one it was still very entertaining and had a hell of a lot of white knuckle suspense.
No stupid one liners and no central hero, only real-like people, in a bad situation that you can relate to. Can we look forward to a third installment?

just like the never ending "...of the dead" series, I think it's safe to assume there will be a "28 months later" and a "28 years later" (this one will have zombies in space) :p

I checked out the Blu0ray from my local BB and I have to say, I liked it more than I thought I would. I wanted to choke the two kids for leaving the compound, but once I got past that I was good.

I have to say that I loathed this movie. Compared to the first it is a major disappointment. Where the first tried to be innovative, this was formulaic (at best) and derivative (at worst). If I hadn't been using the movie for a review, I'd have turned it off. A complete waste of time IMO.

I bet you can't wait for the next one then.:D The very last scene was of the Eifel? Tower, right? Like the American Werewolf thing, no? First London, then Paris.

No where near as good as the first, felt I should have got my rental fee refunded.

I think you missed the point of the dad doing that. To me it felt like he still knew what he was doing even though he was infected. He still had some control unlike all the other infected. Considering the mother was immune to the rage virus and the kids might be as well it just opens up the story for a definite third one. I though it was a good movie plus I like Rose Byrne. Can't wait for Sunshine to come out on BD.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I thought the movie pretty much sucked. Sucking me in for round three ain't happenin'. They could have done a lot of different things other than letting the whole story line die and going straight into predation mode.
