2500 with Paradigm

I will be picking up my Yamaha 2500 this week and I am looking for speaker advice. How about some Paradigm advice I have been reading good things in these forums about Paradigm. Looking to spend around $800 - $1000. I listen to more music than movies, rock and blues. I want the the mains to be butt kick'n. Thanks in advance for your help.

i would suggest the monitor 7's as the bass is a little tighter than the 9's, and then you will be left with a little money for a center or surrounds! Paradigm is coming out with version 4 for the monitor line, so you should be able to find some good deals on v3's.

to buy or not on ebay

Thanks so far for your help, I have been looking for Paradigm on ebay and their seems to be so many different type Paradigm speakers it's very confussing. Has anybody bought speakers on ebay, good idea or bad.
