2006 Consumer Electronics Product of the Year Awards

With such a constant and steady fast evolution, it’s challenging to know who offers class-leading products since there are so many good solutions out there - all suited to specific market demands and client needs. With that in mind, we selected gear in each category that really stood out based on our personal experiences via reviews or demo's as well as the market trends it set based on performance, features, and value.

We've added a couple of late entries (Impact Acoustics, Toshiba) with one more to likely follow next week. The end of the year is just coming up too quickly

I got to say. I also have been impressed with the Axiom inwalls. I took a chance with a new product but had faith in Axiom. Glad I did.

Good list.
Now do I really need a 7 channel amp???

Hi Denon boys, high price doens't mean good. The best product should consider both quality and price.

Gene,

Since you have a 7 channel amp in the awards, maybe you can include a pre-pro as well. That way folks will have the option of receiver or seperate with comparable price and cost. I say that because at approx. $7,000.00 you can put together a set of pre-pro and dedicated amp which will compare with the Denon 5805CI for performance.
