2 subs on one home amplifier?

I have 2 10" powered subwoofers. One of them has speaker inputs and outputs. I have 2 5.25" speakers hooked up to the outputs on the subwoofer. I hooked up both subs via the speaker inputs to a Kenwood KA-76 amplifier.

My question is: Why do I not have a power out of the sub that has speakers hooked up to the outputs?

The Kenwood amp only has speaker outputs. With both subs on the speaker outputs only the sub by itself works. The one that piggybacked the 2 speakers doesn't work...

Welcome to the forum!

It will help to know the brand and model of your two subwoofers.

It's not clear to me how you have everything hooked up. You say that both subs are connected to your Kenwood, but only one has speaker-level inputs and outputs. Does the second sub have speaker-level inputs but no outputs? Here's what I think you've done - connected the "A" speaker terminals from the Kenwood to one of the subs, connected the "B" speaker terminals from the Kenwood to the second sub, and connected the bookshelf speakers to the speaker outputs on one of the subs. Is that correct?
