I was wondering something. Is it possible to wire two sources going into one input on a receiver? One of my friends has an old cheap HTIB and they don’t want to upgrade their receiver. I figured you could get an input connector that had one male and two females into each connection allowing both of the sources to be plugged in at the same time. Am I way off in left field on this one?

Plugging two sources into one input simultaneously has proven to be problematic in the past. Just go to your local RatShack and pick up an audio switch. It costs maybe $20 or so.

Just tell 'em you need it for.
