I have speaker sets in 2 rooms and 1 set outside. I also have a set of Bose surround speakes. I want to connect a receiver (Nakamichi av-500) that is connected to my PC that runs the upstairs set with a home theater receiver downstairs. I want to be able to play music from the PC throughout the house, but also be able to use the Bose system independantly if I want to. This is what I've got so far (side note all the rooms were wired for sound when the house was built 8yrs ago w/ 12 guage speaker wire that all comes out downstairs where bose system is)
PC line out to RCVR1 AUX...also CD/MP3 player to CD input.
Channel A runs to speakers upstairs Channel B goes downstairs to speaker splitter (maybe not the right term) which runs another room and outdoor speakers.
I guess the question is can I go from channel B upstairs into one of the second receivers inputs? Also, can I run the Bose setup off that receivers 'A' and the speakers on the splitter on 'B'?
Also...I'm guessing I cant put RCA plugs on both ends of the 12g speaker wire to connect the amps can I?
Thanks, I know this is long but I dont want to mess anything up
