Is it better to have 2 way with a sub so there isn't the crossover effect with bass?
These are mid sized speakers. I'm wondering if full sized floors are better? However, I'm not blasting the sound.

Doesnt matter much but a 3 way can integrate better with a sub since it gives more options. Its much more expensive though, you can often go up to the next 2 way model tier for the same price as the floorstander, and you never know until its in the room playing.

What crossover effect are you referring to?

Not my experience that it matters particularly about the design of the speaker being 2 way or 3 way but I'd rather have a good 2-way than a middling 3-way.....
