2 kappa perfect subs with one amp?

Just wondering how would 2 kappa perfect builds work with a single O audio bash 500 watt amp? The amp would power the subs at 8ohms so they would be getting roughly 125 watts each.... will this work ok?

No, this would not work well. For two subs you would either need two O audio amps or a single EP2500.

I think you could also use an Ep1500 which would likely be cheaper. If cost is a concern then you could try using just one of the subs.

I still suggest a Behringer Ep1500 or better though. Though an A500 bridged might be ok.

The ep1500 is cheaper than a Bash Amp if you look around.

Even with a 20hz f-mod high pass filter.

If I get the behringer do I have to run a pair of these speakers at 8ohms or is there a way to run both of them at 4ohms?

I would run them both a 4ohms. Unless you are crossing them at 50hz.

What about with an O audio bash amp until I can get a behringer... could I run them at 4 ohms or is that not possible?

You may have seen my posts over the past couple of months regarding my situation regarding this setup. (It is exactly the same as you have now) Anyway, I have been running my kappa with roughly 150 watts at 8 Ohm and it does a nice job. However, it is no where near enough for the sub. You will have enough low end to occasionally rattle a door or something loose, but only when watching Transformers or something. (And not all that often) But, it does sound really nice, and integrates very nicely with music, depending on your mains.

You will be OK with the OAudio, but in no time flat you will be wanting more...believe me!
