I searched everywhere but couldn't find anything on this.
Like the thread title states. I would like to share 2 amps between one pair of speakers. I am planning on buying or building a two channel tube amp for strictly music listening using the two towers in my 5.1 setup. Watching DVD's or regular TV will be handled by my HT receiver running all 5 speakers.
Do they make a switch box to do this? Reading some google searches people have said you can get a normal speaker switch and just reverse it, with others chimeing in that it could harm the amps. Plus my receiver being pretty highpower, (120w) I would be afraid of signal degradation or blowing the unit, amps, and/or speakers up.
What would be really cool would be a remote controlled switch so that I could control with my Harmony 880. Set up an activity such as "Listen to Music." Heehee.
