So I'm new to home theater designing, and am looking at getting my first one. Basically I have noticed it is quite pricey, and I just got my own place and would like to have at least something for now. My room is about 10'-14'.

So I was thinking I would start out with 2 good front speakers, then add a subwoofer, then add the rears and center later. Just because I don't want to buy anything I won't enjoy, and dont want to spend more than $400-500 now on this.

Right now Im pretty set on the onkyo 507 receiver. I dont need 7.1 and ive read lots of good reviews.

So I need some real nice front speakers and really cant find any suggestions that everyone seems to agree on. I like real loud music and movies, and dont want distortion at high volumes.

Also, i have a 1500rms behringer amp, and a big subwoofer already, so i need something that will be able to keep up with that.

any suggestions for good speakers that i could easily add to later would be appreciated.

thanks guys.
