2.1 Bluray Receiver???

I am looking for a 2.1 Bluray Receiver without having to buy a complete package set with speakers. I want to implement it into a custom install.

No such animal. You might find some 5 or 7.1 units but there is no 2.1 receiver that I've ever heard of.

Here's one. You can go to Google and type in "Blu ray receiver" for other options.

5.1 AVR w/ built-in BD player:

For 2.1, just hook up 2 speakers & 1 sub.

For 3.1, just hook up 3 speakers & 1 sub.

Harman Kardon made the BDS series which was 5.1, but I think now they are only available as HTIB with speakers.
I think NAD made some as well, but perhaps they were only DVD and not BluRay. I also don't see them on their website so they must be discontinued.
