1st HT - Klipsch Quintet III/Quintet

I am slowly entering the AV world and I am looking at purchasing the Klipsch Quintet III or the Quintet and the Pioneer VSX 1019AH Receiver 120 watts x7. My problem is that the speakers are as follows:

FREQUENCY RESPONSE Satellite: 120Hz-23kHz
Center: 125Hz-23kHz
POWER HANDLING Satellite: 50 watts (200 watts peak)
Center: 75 watts (300 watts peak)
SENSITIVITY Satellite: 91dB@2.83 volts/1 meter
Center: 94dB@2.83 volts/1 meter

Is this too much Power from this 1019receiver?

Short answer no, the 1019 will handle these without a problem your sensitivity is high which mean it won't take that much power to get crazy loud. The specs you listed for power handling is how much the speaker can handle not draw,the first number is RMS how many watts it can handle continuously and the Peak how much it can handle for a short time.

No, that will be fine, and I think you will like those speakers, just match them with a nice sub and you will be very happy.

Agreed. If your reciever can't drive those speakers, nothing can. Klipsch speakers are some of the most efficient speakers on the market.

They will work together just fine. You'll just want a good subwoofer to go with those speakers.
