15yr old's Bedroom 5.1/Stereo System

Amp/Receivers:JVC RX6020V; JVC RX707V; and something i picked up for free an old Marantz SR360 AM/FM Tuner Stereo Amp (which i have not hooked up [yet]). Ultra Linear 7 Band EQ, its for car audio, but i cut the wires and soldered it to a 12v dc adapter.

Entertainment:Motorola Cable Box; Xbox 360

Television: Westinghouse 26" LCD (Refurbished)

Speakers:2 Acoustic Research Vintage bookshelf (8" woofer w/ 1.5" tweeter)

Sanyo SS340 (8" woofer w/ ?3"-4"? tweeter/upper range)

2 Acoustic Audio bookshelf (4.5" woofers with 1" Horn)

And (2) 2-way Polk 5.25" w/1" silk tweeter car audio speakers in a homemade box (rectangular) as my center channel and the box is wood-stained dark.

Subs: 12" Rockford Fosgate Ported and currently blown . and an ebay 15" woofer installed into a homemade 4.00cu/ft box! Resonant at 50hz external dimensions: 19x19x19 if i remember correctly.

I have Dolby Digital 5.1 coming out of the Xbox 360 in to the RX6020V. Then the subwoofer output from that amp goes through the EQ. Then from the Sub output of the EQ. Then it goes into the VCR1 input on the RX707V which has the 15" sub bridged across two of the channels

Ah for the days of Fisher garage-sale receivers that overheated (and quit until you let them cool down!), pawn shop receivers, and Frankenstein-like abominations of car audio, random guitar amps, home-made speaker boxes and scrounged sound gear…

Good job dude - I been there and had some great times (as a teenager) mixing and matching whatever I could come up with to equalize, amplify and play loudly.
