Hey,

Is it true that SVS thinks about using 15" chassis for the new Ultras ?

Read this somewhere, maybe someone knows more about it ?

No, its either 14inches, or a 12.

Don't ask how I know this.

Well I know...and I'm not telling. Still in development and subject to mods.

I'm thinking it's larger than 13", but less than 15." Just don't take that info to the track, 'cause it's just a guess. ;)

Trade offs...they want to improve SQ and output. I'm guessing, but they've already got a stellar design and can't take it any further. I'm sure they've experimented w/15" drivers, but feel the 13 -14" driver delivers on their goal better.

Not to mention it will most likely be in a ported enclosure, and that is getting big.

.....sounds like a sub geared toward Home Theater to me....I personally don't see how a couple of SVS 16-46-plus cylinders could be beat for the HT really low rumbles, but I guess it's time for "off with HSU's HO head"......

svs

hear now maybe a 13 or 14 Inch cause a 15 inch does not fit in a Cyl. Sub ?

Time will tell, but I am glad they are developing hard........
