That's what stands in between me and the holy grail of 11 chicklets and Field Marshal ranking. Let me say that nobody could possibly deserve it less.

The forum has members that are really on top of their game and are helpful beyond measure. I think what might be happening is that they help new members out who might not know about rep points and even if they do, because they are new, their rep is worth very little. Then likely as not they wonder off.

So here's to the guys who help out new members with the fundamentals and to the AH staff that generate the articles which benefit those of us without engineering degrees in Rocket Science (except Tom Andry). Sorry, I don't know why but I think that's funny. Seriously, I want to thank Tom as well. It's a great forum that continues to be informative, amusing and best of all, exceptionally tolerant. A nod to the mods is in order for keeping this place civil. It's nice to be able to tell regular people about a site like this where they can get good info on the topic of A/V.

My favorite part is the guys with the big brains in the DIY arena. That's kind of cool for those of us without the big budgets.

Seriously, though, don't sell yourself short. You give out great help, and you're hilarious to boot. Chicklets are just a game, anyway. It feels good to give them, and it feels good to get them. I honestly hope that you do get that next chicklet today. It'll look good on you.

I would like to second your kudos to the fine folks here. It's great that so many people take the time to help out others, whether those others are regulars or are just one time passers by.

Now, get to posting, slacker! If you don't hit Field Marshall today, I'll just have to shed a tear in (one of) my beer(s) tonight.

Yeah, Alex doesn't have long to wait (nor do you, Sheep). The last chicklet comes at 1500 points, and the last moniker (that I know of) comes once someone reaches (a) 2000 points and (b) has been given scales. At least, I think that's the qualifications for the moniker. Thanks to Andrew for pointing out that you need to get scales to have your moniker change.

As for me, I prefer that they read my thoughts. It allows them to know upfront that consuming my brain would be such a useless meal that they'll leave me alone and move on.
