So, I have a ATH-ADG1 headset from 2 years ago, tried plugging it into my Schiit Fulla 2 before I sent it in for repair to fix the microphone.

The main problem was, I used the 1/4" adapter off of the Sennheiser HD598 custom made cables to plug into the Audio Technica. It did fit, but i'm not sure. Once I started playing youtube, or a movie the sound of it was very quiet and just didn't feel right. I don't mean quiet as in it's turned down, just quiet as in distorted? I don't know. Shooting, bombs, people talking. It all just sounded weird af. So I just figured the Adapter didn't fit and isn't for it.

Can anyone recommend me a 1/4" adapter off of amazon that might indeed fit on my headset? Much appreciated.

The Audio Technica appears to have a TRRS 1/8" connection on it for the microphone, and most audio systems have a TRS 1/4" stereo headphone connection.

If the 1/8" to 1/4" adapter isn't working perfectly, then it may have issues dealing with the extra connection point on the TRRS 1/8" connection.

I would probably try this:

Into something like this (which you probably already have)...
