I am currently trying to update my churches sound system. No one else to do it. We recently purchased a Yamaha MGP32X MIXER - sound board. We also bought a Roland VR-3EX AV mixer, for multiple cameras. I want to take sound from Yamaha & send it to the Roland & mix video & sound there. The Yamaha has two L/R Balanced TRS 1/4" outs that I can use & I want to take it to Roland's L/R RCA in.. Can I go Left TRS to Left RCA & Right TRS to Right RCA & be ok? Or do I just take the TRS to the side where it has 4 channel inputs for TRS? I was just confused when there is talk of Phantom Power? We are NOT using the condensers on the Mics presently either. I am not super knowledgable... Thanks

Hey Dennis

Welcome to the Forum!

All you need is a pair of standard 1/4” TS (not TRS) to RCA cables, as pictured below. Phantom power won’t be an issue, that’s only present on XLR mic inputs, not TRS inputs or outputs.
