WooHoo, (as Homer would say). I have joined the 12 people here that have 1K+ posts. Out of 9K+ members. Granted 3/4 of my posts are junk. But the 1/4 = 25% that may have helped people, I am proud of....
Just venting, no biggy....

Actually was coming here for 2 months prior. And I just joined AVS today, after going there for over a year. (basically to back up Buck)
You will see sometimes I type a long answer, sometimes a short. Depends on how much pain I'm in on that day. (disability)

For all, basically tonight is a bad night. But I will quickly explain.
I fell off a 5 story building, landed on my face and hands.
Shattered both wrists, and broke every bone in my face, and thats just for starters. So pain is something I live with.
No big deal, I'm here.
Edit:: Mule, Duff, and majorloser (some others) know some of what more that happened.
However I am close to majorloser (Dave), he is a personal friend of 5-6 years.
And he in my opinion and the city of Sunrise and City of Melbourne is close to a genious.
Granted dumb me probably spelled genious wrong.... Go figure
EDIT#2 Yep, no extra 0 on genius However this does not make to a close relation to Gumby...

I'll look into your computer problem, but since your IT friend and (useless) Dell, can't solve it. Then without the computer in front of me it may be hard. Granted I could about put money on, that I certainly can fix your what I call minor problem. Just hard to do over the phone. Usually I can, but your case needs a little more finessing, even though yout friend had access to your computer..

Yesterday I couldn't spell genius and now I is one!!!!! It ain't often us Florida crackers get compliments.

Now for the rest of you out there, Brian is sort of a computer guru. He's a wiz with graphics and quite good at building those damn geek machines.

Me, I just give mine a swift kick when it locks up (don't believe me, you shuld see the case). Between Microsoft and Dell, "Somebody needs to die!"

Now I need to spend more time on these forums while at work (like now)!

Thanks but don't knock yourself out on it. I have a three year warranty on my Dell. So I call and they tell me it will be $49 because the software is only a one year warranty and hardware is three. I may just call them back and pay the money. Then they will most likely have to send someone out and fix it. For those intersted I'm no dummy when it comes to PC's but I have a problem with the WIA. If you know what that is congratulations because I didn't until about 5 weeks ago when mine stopped working. At least Brian knew what it was.

C'mon. You know you agree with me on everything. Heck, sometimes I look at a previous post and think, man, was that bad advice? Geezus, maybe I should edit. Nah, we need some controversy here. Anyhow, congrats on 1000. You give some solid, sound advice. I think a ton of newbies, as well as seasoned guys have learned a bunch from you. Especially that you don't have to spend huge $$ to get great sound.

After all, you've pioneered the Pioneer 1015, pushed those awesome Acoustech towers and center, and stood behind the JBL E250 sub without a hitch.

The pictures you provide are great. More members need to learn how to use Photobucket, as well as get an avitar (moving avitars are more fun, no matter what our trustees say )

We're all anxious to hear your entry level sub shoot out. How's the shipping schedule on the subs you've ordered?
