Start with a 2x4 HD. Much better than standard. Several reasons. I would recommend running Multi Sub Optimizer (MSO) with it. Amazing results. You can also upgrade an HD with software firmware plugin for Dirac down the road. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro

That makes zero sense. Amps plug into the pre outs and just leave the powered connections open. You may need to configure some of the other powered outputs for their optional content (ie sub2 May be a atmos channel). I know this doesn’t help but it doesn’t at all sound right.
