I just heard there was a macroblocking issue with these that was addressed with a firmware release.

Does anyone know how or where to get a firmware update for my Denon 755S (1910)?!?!? I have looked on the Denon website and the drop down menu for updates doesn't include my model or the 1910. Any suggestions!?!?

I am about to purchase a Denon 755S (1910) and I was curious, what is the big issue about the firmware? And how can I be sure I have the latest version in my player?

I have finally decided on a Denon 755S for a DVD player and have a few questions. Since I will have to convert the DVI output to HDMI for my TV, will this conversion cause any problems in the PQ? Does anyone have any extra input/opinions on the quality of this player?

I have a Sony 51" CRT Rear Projection HDTV. Is purchasing an upscaling (or upconverting) DVD player not going to make much of a difference on my set? I have read that it is mainly for DLP, PLasma, and LCD sets. Is this true?

I just returned a Toshiba SD5970 after a HUGE letdown in the quality of the picture. I figured with up conversion and an HDMI connection it would be pretty good, but my $30.00 Wal-Mart DVD player puts out a better picture!! Now I am in the market for another DVD player in the $200.00 range...
