A little Blue Tack on the bottom and the speakers are attached pretty securely. The VS 260 are nice and produce a larger soundstage than the older Boston VR3 and VR965 when I compared them side-by-side.

You really have to listen to the 703's to know if you will like them or not. They are a rare three-way design bookie that sound like small towers. They are punchy on the low end and over-all are a pleasing speaker to listen to. Polk is know as an affordable speaker so in the Audiophile circles...
