I've run calibration once but loaded different curves to the receiver multiple times. Will need to run again soon so we'll see how that goes.

Worked without issue from me. Essentially same experience as the receiver but after I could choose to apply it only to the low frequencies.

You could try the Flat setting instead of Reference for the Audyssey curve. Also, if you have a newer receiver you can download the Audyssey app. It allows you to shape the curve as well as to cut off at what frequency it runs its' correction. For instance, I have Audyssey running equalization...

Very cool! I'd been looking for generic angle measuring tools, not a specific speaker one. I'll have to try it out tonight. Doesn't quite do everything I was looking for (vertical as well as horizontal angles, and positional angle not just toe in), but for a $1, it's worth a try.

Both of these were the approaches I had been taking up to this point. I had assumed that by now someone had come up with a magic app that did the work for you. Or attached a laser pointer to a protractor or something. Good to know I'm not missing something.
