    What is the crossover set at ? In my limited experience ,auto eq's tend to set the crossover far too high.(80hz is your starting point) What size is your room? Someone on here will suggest whether that sub is suitable. I had a similar problem with a cheap paradigm sub. Not enough...

    If it says it goes to 78hz,,then 100hz..or possibly (at a push)90hz.. 80 would be far to close to the limits of the speaker Mine go to 50hz....crossover at 80hz...i'd try 70 If the receiver would let me...80's probably best though Someone with a better audio vocabulary will be along in a min...

    Crossover is the dividing line...above goes to spkrs..below goes to sub.. The only time you'll lose anything (as such) is if your spkrs Arent capable of dealing with some of the bass they are Being asked to reproduce. Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk 2

    You would effectively(if it's actually possible) just be handing a job the receiver was already doing, to the sub. Some rel's are designed to use high level (l+r) input's Alongside or instead of, the lfe input...pretty sure it's in order to connect up amp's with no dedicated lfe out's Sent...
