Just a theory yet it seems the tech minds could develop true full size AV in a soundbar size. Can you imagine the change in the AV industry. Note, I am not talking about a new soundbar but an entire new AV tech. Dreams.

I just read this short article about a possibly new Sonos bar. My question is why Sonos would put more development in Alexa compatibility and a single HDMI than with besting the latest soundbar features found on the Sony 5000 and such? I own and love the Sony but also find the Sonos a suburb...

Excellent. Ends my idea of bias lighting for our TV and blue walls.

Using a short cable may damage the internal cable and or put the connector at a stressed angle that could cause disconnects and or damage to the male/female connections components.

Supposedly, the light shine on the colored wall will distract a persons perception of colors on the video. I have never used biased lighting. The recommended netural color is a light grey. The grey is not for us.

Reliable HDMI connection is why I use Monoprice Ultraslims

White light illuminated blue and other colors will impact the appearance of colors on the screen. Do you use bias lighting with a colored wall? Thanks

I’ve had to drop my idea of bias lighting because our wall is medium blue. That is unless someone has a work around. Oh, do repaint. A wife thing.
