I am within that group who has nothing with XLR as well.

I have got a Power Sound Audio PSA-XV15 subwoofer, and the power cable does not fit tight. My 2 year old easily removes it. I email PSA about this issue while the sub was under warranty, but didn't receive a favorable response. I think I may just give it a try and build one just to see how it goes.

Good to see you on this forum. The Emotiva forum has some "hard to please" members. Furthermore, it is a tough business selling cables. Question, are you going to start selling power cables for subs, AVRs, etc. in the near future?
