AM/FM tuner on AVR's
I use mine ocasionally when I reload shotgun shells on the weekends. I would normally use Pandora but, when I'm reloading I don't like to change songs (disctactions are dangerous) and with FM radio I don't have that option so I can stay focused on the task at hand. I would however, give up...

Dolby Atmos Coming to Theaters Near You
That's disappointing, I think 3D sucks and should be given up on. However, that's just my $0.02:D....Now as for ceiling speakers, I say the more the merrier...but I hear my future wallet crying....

Newer Technology Power2U USB Receptacle Review
$22 is still outrageous. Except for the GFCI's most standard receptacles in homes are less than $2 each. That now changes it to needing to be 11x the functionality.:D How many times have you really needed or even wanted to charge more than 2 devices at a time from a single outlet? I can't think...

Newer Technology Power2U USB Receptacle Review
At nearly $30 I doubt I will be buying one any time soon. Standard receptacles are less than $5 (even for gfci) and most charging blocks are free with the device. I just don't see $30 of worth of functionality here. I might be willing to spend a couple $$ more to have them in key locations, but...

College Budget Setup
Well I certainly don't feel so bad about my set-up now. :D My tv is way too big for the entertainment center I hacked up to make it fit and my center channel is sitting on a box my shotgun came in. I may just make my own thread now..

Best Buy Closes 50 Stores, Set to Open 100 Mobile Stores
While I don't think my local best buy was on the list of 50 they plan to close, I have heard rumors that it will be closing in the near future. I'm not that upset about it either. It's not even a good show room any more. Last time I was there I set off an alarm on a cell phone and a lap top. I...

Amazon VOD comes to PS3
Just signed up for prime a few nights ago (my free student ran out) and I'm not entirely impressed with the VOD service. It is a bit sluggish (on ps3) and the free prime content is very limited. I would like an option like netflix to pay a monthly charge for access to all content. I will say...

Ides of March
I can pretty much agree with everything said here. It's a well directed and acted out movie but, the plot itself is rather dull. Worth seeing on netflix or other source but, not the $$ to buy...

How do I sound proof furnace intake vent?
Don't have any real solutions but, as a renter I also feel your pain. My intake is also quite loud as well (not loud enough to bother me like yours though). My refrigerator on the other hand sounds like a 747 taking off in my kitchen when it runs. When I first moved in it would wake me up at...

I thought Comcast was bad...
I don't really get it. It can't be that hard to make a clean GUI and yet most every cable company I have seen has a crappy GUI that looks like it was (and probably was) made 10 years ago.

A shamless plug for an MP3 tag editor I've been using
I have been using it as well and I love it. I didn't know such things exist until I started updating all my music and wanted it all to be formatted the same. I spent a while doing them one by one until it struck me that there is probably a program capable of making changes to multiple songs at...
