I would second the MA RS 6 for right at 1 grand. Another speakr to check would be the Wharfedale Evo 30. Front ported,genuine wood veneer, cool cabinets, sweet sound. Don't know if there is a Wharfedale dealer in the greater DFW area, but would think so.

There is actually a paint that made for home theater use that makes the wall a screen. I don't know the name, but I talked to an installer one time who told me that it really worked well. May want to consider that as an option. Enjoy, X
