I was home alone today and played Bluray "Hurt Locker" again but this time with my SVS sub WOW huge difference from my two old Klipsch Sub 12 I had for 15 years.

We rented "The Fate Of The Furious" #8 in series LOL ..... it was OK the special effects were great but the story line is getting old. They sure messed up some expensive vehicles in this one.

I have used a PS3 for CD music for years with my system. I purchased a matching Yamaha CD changer that was a option for my Yamaha AVR. I wish I had not wasted the money, my PS3 sounds the same on my Klipsch Cornwalls.....Great.

The 1000 watt 3,600 watt peak Sledge made a difference in my 2007 PB-13 Ultra when pushed hard on special effects on movies. YMMV different rooms and each has it's own issues. I have a very small den so we really FEEL the LFE, it shakes the back rest on our 2 HT chairs.

Opinions vary, I am posting from personal experience with over 1000 watt plus plate amps VS smaller 400 watt amps. YMMV. Be careful how you push any sub is a lot of it.

I have owned both and my SVS PB 13 Ultra will produce better and tighter bass I FEEL stronger then two Klipsch 112. But at a cost, 2K for the 13 Ultimate. IMHO if movies are all you use it for and small room the two 112 will be OK . Big difference from from OK VS no sub VS one PB 13 Ultra...

That is so true........but do you see threads in several different forums with pages of up set Yamaha owners? Same with Denon etc there are others that have not had so many Q.C. issues in the past. I have a SVS sub that eats amps about every three years and some of not had a amp issue with...
