i did it... not much of a replacement for my sub but it works. sounded kinda bad at first but my equalizer fixed it... it lacks deep bass but i knew it would... but at least it has some punch to it now... and with the sansui's bi wired with my sub running, its nice... even without my sub it...

i have an old yamaha receiver that has a subwoofer amp built in... ive actually never own a subwoofer with a built in amp

but if i bi amp it, it will be powered by a separate amp and i can have thw woofers turned up louder since the way they are now... well... you would think these speakers have 6" woofers... not 15's

so im selling my sub so i wanna have the woofers in my sansui's wired separately as subs since the way they are now, well.... its very disappointing. ive tried driving them as subs before with pretty decent results so i know they CAN be decent subs... i just need to have them wired separately...

You can't really find any cars older than 12 years old around here.. I actually was looking for o lder hondas but I could only find an old accord that won't pass emmissons testing. Also you can't really buy any cars around here for less than $1000.. I see plenty of sunfires and cavaliers with...

well... i might be trading my system for a 1989 chevy caprice.. i'm not quite sure though... i can replace my subwoofer for $200, all my other speakers dont really matter that much, i can get better ones cheap but the sansui's cant really be replaced... the guy wants $1000 or to trade for audio...

so.... i installed android on my netbook.... and this is actually great... its like a tablet with a keyboard and no touch screen.. not perfect but it works pretty well. android runs WAY smoother than any other os I've had on this (win7 starter, win 7 home 64bit, ubuntu, mac osx), a few features...

and they were already sold... i guess i should have expected that, thats a great deal :(

ooh there are some 300w bash plate amps for $100 on kijiji :D looks like I've found an amp for my subwoofer

oh... well its still a nice sub..

but the new daytons are like the 12" tc's for like half the price... this is good

actually on the yamaha it's more of a 2.1 mode... pretty stupid, i know... so... i accidentally fixed the problem somewhat.... i guess the receiver was sending some of the bass to the main channels... but.... i think im gonna lower the crossover on the sony down to 80Hz just in case... but...

see, im not crazy... it does work but i really do need to get a proper amp...

right now its at -20dB which is better but then i also have my volume on my sony rather low because my dad was saying there was too much bass earlier... and now that i realized he is gone i have my sony up to about 75% :D
