    Receiver processing question

Something's wrong with your setup, double check everything. Go into the menu setup of your AVR, and perhaps your sources too, and make sure everything is set properly. Won't hurt either to recheck all your wiring. Good luck.

Reviewing Home Theater Related Product Reviews

Even from Canada? Besides, it's not easy either to find smart viewers that have good reading skills, ability to do an objective analysis of what they just read and good aptitudes at deciphering truth from fiction. I am also open to great reviewers with an intelligent audience.

Any blu-ray player that can be used as a DAC?

Denon older top of the line Universal DVD players used to have this feature, but it is not found in their top Universal Blu-ray players anymore. * Anyway, you can now get a very good separate Dac for very little money.

Recommend Pany DMP-BD80 or LG BD390?

Maybe better wait for the newer players coming soon... with 3D capability, HDMI v.1.4, 250gb hard drive, etc. * But if you cannot wait, I'll say it's pretty much a toss up between these two.

Lexicon BD-30 Blu-ray Player (Oppo BDP-83 Clone) Review
