So if I say stacked four say...... PB2000 pros..... Would we be getting close? Obviously there are many variables, just wondering how low you could go price wise and best it.

    Spotify vs Tidal streaming quality..

Remember to turn off the normalize volume setting in spotify. It kills quality. I didn't realise for months. The setting says it doesn't affect quality but try it yourself.

Love ‘em or hated them??? Logitech universal remotes

I loved mine but google TV and the musicast app for my receiver killed it. I've always had great results using arc so yeah...... was fun programming and sorting routines etc.

I absolutely smash all movies on my pb2000. Don't worry about it. The limiters do a fine job, trust me I've tested

    Yamaha RX-V6A/TSR-700 views?

I'm really loving mine. I've been pushing it pretty hard at times and it has zero issues. Really do appreciate the music cast app just purely for adjusting sub trim to suit.

Two New Dual THX Monolith Subs BIG Bada Boom!

Man, my PB 2000 is enough in my 716 cubic foot room, but I really want one of these. I'm pretty sure I'd vomit at full noise, and that sounds badass . Pity I'm in New Zealand.

    Buying a new tv today

You'll love the oled. I have a 65" A90j and it's just beautiful. Due to the exceptional black levels , when a bright area is on screen it's dazzling. Contrast ratio is much more important that total brightness. Here's a great example. You can just see my receiver display in bottom left. This is...

What do you think of 8k TVs so far?

4k content isn't rare. It's everywhere , Netflix, Amazon prime, Disney plus, YouTube. There's thousands of hours of quality 4k hdr material. And it looks phenomenal on my new oled. I won't be going to the movies again now I have the new tv , I just can't accept the soft focus and lack of...

Where does my money go when i buy a high end speaker

I spend enough time in this hobby listening, tweaking , and enjoying my speakers / home theater set up. I have the skills and means to diy, hell I program and run a CNC mill and could easily make baffles etc out of aluminum for near zero cost from leftover materials at work. But I value my time...

Sony OLED A90J or LG OLED

The A90j has an integrated aluminum heatsink added by sony to allow higher brightness for longer periods, and improved lifespan, and uses the latest panel from LG display as used in the G1 ("Evo" panel) . That along with the slightly better processing on the Sony and back lit remote , plus...

    Brighter OLED coming?

Yeah I the tech has really matured , the fact I don't game and watch a large variety of content has me pretty confident I'll has this set for a few years to come. I did look at the TCL C825 mini led , and Samsung Q90a mini led but there was still some blooming. And self illuminating pixels are...

    Brighter OLED coming?

The A90J series (and the 83" version of the A80j) use the latest panel from LG used in the G1 (lg call it Evo) , and add an integrated heatsink for slightly increased brightness and slightly less burn in risk (the A80j 83" didn't get the heat sink) . That and the Sony processing steered me to...

    Brighter OLED coming?

    Brighter OLED coming?

The A90J is staying on as a 2022 model , just below the new qd oled a95k, which will be extremely expensive. The New A90ks are 42" and 48" models only. I doubt the 65" etc a90js will drop below it's current price for awhile yet
