    Thinking about upgrading my sub.

    Do you have any acoustic treatment in the room, specifically bass traps? In my experience, adding treatment to a room will give a bigger improvement than ugprading the sub (unless the sub is really poor).

    The setup shown in that diagram isn't bad, though if it were my room I'd slide the screen and the front row of seats a bit to the left, to achieve better left/right symmetry.
