When viewing a dvd or watching HD with a digital signal. my powered sub works great. It is connected to my Marantz via the pre-out. However, when I use the tuner on my receiver, there is no signal transfered through the sub pre-out. Is there a way to tell my receiver to send that signal or do I...

Apollo 13 is the film that I saw being played in a sound booth in a local electronics store when I discovered what a home theater can do. I bought my first AV system that day ... along with that film. It's not one of the best for surround, but the launch scenes are ... out of this world.

Does the PS3 have an IR remote option? Will my Harmony 880 work with the unit?

I see there are now 4 versions of the PS3. I read that some can play PS2 games and some can not. I have a PS2 so this isn't a dire need, but it would be nice. My use for this will be about 80%/20% movies to games. Obviously I would like to spend as little as I can get away with. Any advice?

Now that HD-DVD is going the way of the dinosaur, I can invest in an HD player. Assuming I am going to dish out $300 for a Blu-ray, for only another $150 I can just grab up the PS3. My question is this ... How is the quality of PS3s Blu-ray player? Is it comparable to stand alone model?

Thank god. Now I can go buy a high-def player. I have been waiting for this to go one way or the other. Though I was hoping that HD-DVD would win out.
