opinions on Martin Logan Depth i for HT
granted that the ML is more comparable to the sealed versions from PSA and SVS. However, 1000 is a steep discount off of MSRP. Not sure how much they typically sell for but I still think that this is a pretty good buy. 3 eight inch woofers will have more surface area than a 12 inch cone. And...

opinions on Martin Logan Depth i for HT
Hi I have an opportunity to buy a yr old ML Depth i with the Cherry finish for about 1000. I have been set on either the PB12NSD or the XV15 but this deal seems to be pretty good. I had been considering the Outlaw and the Hsu but fit and finish are are somewhat important to me as is what is...

Outlaw LFM EX v. Power Sound Audio XV15 v. any other sub under 750
thanks what's your opinion on build quality between PSA, HSU and Outlaw and price/performance? my last Hsu, Tn1220 had a DIY type of feel to it. Judging by the pictures, the outlaw LFM and Hsu VTF 2 look fairly similar. OTOH, the PSA looks to be quite beefy. Maybe it's just me but "made in...

Outlaw LFM EX v. Power Sound Audio XV15 v. any other sub under 750
a few more opinions please I've decided to increase my budget to 750 or less and wanted to know peoples opinions on the LFM @600 dollars delivered or the XV15 (B stock) at 720 delivered. I know there isn't a lot of experience with the XV15, it appears as though the experience has generally...

HSU STF-2 vs. VTF-1 MK2
I had the hsu cylinder sub years ago, from a sound perspective it was great. aesthetically, not so good... the hsu could be positioned horizontally and hidden behind the couch and that worked quite well from a visual and sound standpoint.

Buying SUB without LFE input
personally I've done both, used a splitter and just a single channel and I can attest that it doesn't make a difference

HSU VTF-2 MK4 v. Outlaw LFM-1 v. Epik Legend v. SVS
thanks for the reply. although HSU is a fine sub, I had a problem with a cylinder sub in the past and ended up throwing it away. not sure if it was an isolated event or not. good find on the outlaw. Thanks!

Hi looking to get a new subwoofer to replace a Velodyne f1200. My application is 90% home theater and I'm looking for both the best sub as well as value and I'm considering the VTF-Mk2 548 local pickup Outlaw LFM-1 plus 629 delivered Epik Legend 579 delivered SVS PB-1000 499 delivered...
