I'd agree with Mike. If you get the Parasound and for some reason you don't like it you can always throw it on audiogon, sell it, and then get an xpa5 then. The xpa5 will be there in a month or so. It could potentially take you a bit to find another good deal on a Parasound.

If it were me I would look for something with more power like in the 200 watt range. If you want a single amp I would go with an emotiva xpa5 or look on audiogon for something used.

Just as a side note you could also look into used amps on audiogon. Amps are pretty sturdy so as long as they are taken care of I don't think it's a big risk to go used. I was able to pick up an Anthem MCA50 for $1100.

Looks like I'm gonna just pick up a used Anthem MCA50 at a great price and do a side by side comparison. Then I'll just keep the one I like the best. If I don't hear a difference, as many suggest, then I'll just base it off asthetics or something else since performance would be equal.
