    PSB Synchrony 1 review

With the money saved you can buy very good amps. Here is what Stereophile said about these speakers, which were give a Class A Component Recommendation by them. A Class usually reserved for speakers costing much more money than these PSB's. "Summations The last two speakers I reviewed...

    Heathkit Integrated Amp SA-2

I just got a vintage Heathkit SA-2 as a gift. Will hook a pair of PSB B-25 speakers to it. Can anyone tell me what sound characteristics should I expect from this amp? Also, any info regarding Heathkit is appreciated.

    Audiophile Liquidator?

Exactly what happened to me, but I noticed the runaround prior to buying, and decided not to buy from them.

    Audiophile Liquidator?

Funny, how he doesn't mention product bought, nor who was the legit vendor. IMO, just a drive by PR campaign...I bought from Saturday Audio (PSB Speakers T45/C40/B25)), and from Accessories4Less (Marantz Refurb SR-5001), and absolutely happy with the service received. Tried Audiophile...

Paradigm or Klipsch...any recommendations please help?

The big question is....So Modepp, what did you end up doing???

Paradigm or Klipsch...any recommendations please help?

I think FredK put it best, and also managed to confuse you...Don't mean anything against FredK, it is just that there are so many options out there, just like he mentioned, that you can go nuts trying to find the best speaker for your taste and budget. This might be helpful (Buyer's guide...

    New TSC Offerings

TST3 = 20/20, now that is something we would have to hear. If they are able to do this, and make their speaker sound decent, they will be a great recommendation for those with a tight budget.

Paradigm or Klipsch...any recommendations please help?

As you can see, lots of people here are not Klipsch fans, and I'm one of them. But, let's be honest...The Klipsch you want are better than the Paradigm Monitor, your use is 70% HT, and Klipsch make great HT speakers. They are easy to drive, have high sensitivity, very clear, dynamic, good full...

    MA GS10 Sierra 1 opinions?

The first time I heard the GS10 I was at my local MA dealer looking at the on-wall Radius series to use in my family room. The local MA dealer has a second floor with three huge listening rooms dedicated to MA, a Radius room, a Silver room, and a Gold room. When I opened the door of the Radius...

    MA GS10 Sierra 1 opinions?

From what I have read about the Sierra's I would venture and say that GS10 is easier to set up and more forgiving to the environment. I think the price difference between both models, with the GS10 being more expensive, makes believe they are in different categories. Haven't met an MA Gold...

    I would say high 50's

    MA GS10 Sierra 1 opinions?

Haven't heard the Sierra's, so I will not say anything about them. Now, I have heard GS10's, and they are one of my favorite speakers. For their price I don't find any flaws with them, actually I enjoy very much the way they convey voices, especially deep male voices. Imaging, soundstage, mid...

    New bookshelf speakers

Just click on the link in my signature, show it to your wife, and tell her your infinity's are mini speakers! The mentioned ELT525 are small and very good sounding, but no center at this time. You might want to check PSB Alpha B1 and it's center, very well reviewed speaker. PSB B25 is a...

    New bookshelf speakers

Happy T45 owner here, and because of their not so big size the wife agreed on them, rather than on-walls. The "problems" mentioned by 3db can be easily handled by a good sub. I have HSU VTF2-MKIII, and very happy with its performance.

    Paradigm online :)

Heard many stories about Audiophile Liq. I wouldn't trust them. I believe in other forums this company has been mentioned, not in a good way, many times. Also, their prices are not as good as you might think. I can buy a NAD C325BEE Amp from Saturday Audio (authorized dealer with great stock) at...

    New bookshelf speakers

As a PSB owner I agree. Have heard many good things about the Ascend 170's, and don't know if TAI still has a sale on Swan, if they do check them out.

Question about PSB B15 and onix encore x-ls

My T45's are 3ft. away from the side wall, and some 8" from the backwall. When I use my B25's in that system, the B25's are 4 ft. from the side wall, and 10" to 12" from the backwall.

Question about PSB B15 and onix encore x-ls

Logic will tell you that the B25 has more bass than B15, and that's it. But, no the B25 is superior in other aspects like soundstage, imaging, and neutrality. You need to compare them side by side to truly appreciate the difference. When using my B25's, instead of my T45's, in my HT system I...

Question about PSB B15 and onix encore x-ls

No problem with 6-Ohm, most 8-Ohm equipment will handle 6 Ohms without hesitation. B25 is very different from B15, much more balanced, neutral, same details and mids, tight bass. Better than the X-LS. Encores X-LS is a very good speaker that falls between the B15 and the B25.
