I would for sure check out the def tech product. I was not a fan. When I auditioned them they didn't sound natural to me, but it could have been the room and not the speakers. A good friend owned a pair and I wasn't impressed there much either, but they for sure got loud without sounding...

Ad700 You guys with the AD700... Do you find that you miss having more powerfull bass? I was looking at the M50 from audio Technica for the extended bass and sealed configuration. However they look like they would be really dang warm.

Mrceolla, Granteed gave you an option that will ship everything to your door with NO commitment, for well under the cost you came up with. Your resistance to looking elsewhere doesn't make sense considering that everyone else here has said you will get much better quallity looking at products...

You loving the mixamp? It's been on my radar for a while. I almost purchased the a40 system just so I could get the walruss "gamer tags". Grrr. No place to audition these. AKG701, AT AD700, or DT 880. decisions decisions.
