Good customer service story: PF Changs

Ate at a PF Changs a few months back for my wife's birthday. Turns out this location was one of a few across the nation where they were trying out a new limited menu. Very little of what we have ordered in the past was on the menu. What we did order was OK but not great. Expressed our...

    Music-Sense amps??

I was going to recommend Audiosource as well. I have an older Amp Two that I've been pleased with. Many amps have a 12V trigger. What are you using for a preamp/processor? Does it have a 12V trigger output? -Dave

    balancing a ceiling fan ?

I didn't see this mentioned. What kind of electrical box is it mounted to? You do know a regular box is not meant to have a ceiling fan hung from it, right? Most balance issues occur because the wrong electrical box is used or it's not mounted securely. -Dave

    Passive radiator-which direction

My only comment would be that the dirver, which ever it is, that's facing the other sub is way too close to breathe properly. Give it some more room.

    FS: Klipsch Synergy KSF-C5 Center

I bought this locally as part of a 5 speaker package which included the Forte II's that I really wanted. Works fine & looks OK, I just really have no use for it since I bought the Forte's for my 2 channel system. I inserted it into my HT rig for a few days to ensure everything sounds fine, and...

    Removing screen scratches

Thanks to the temper of my 3 year old & a flying toy, my SXRD projection screen now has a nice scratch/scuff on it. Luckily it's in the extreme lower left of the screen. It's not visible from the seating location, but still bugs me none the less. Has anyone found a product that will safely...

    HHGREGG Excellent Buying Experience

We're getting one in our area. I checked out the web site, and their selection of audio gear is pathetic. They look to be more of an appliance store than an electronics retailer. Pitty. -Dave

    Placing my ADP surrounds

They should be mounted 2-3 ft above your head & directly to the side of your seating position. Have you used AVIA or similar to calibrate them? -Dave

    12/2 or 12/4??

Bi-wire is overkill for surround speakers. I see no problem running 12/2, it's what I use for my surrounds. My run is about 35-40ft. It's no harder to pull then 14/2 in my experience. Use CL2 or CL3 rated wire. -Dave
