    Need a push: Cinema 60, or Denon x3700,x3800, x4700

I do like zkelectronics too. I also find the Crutchfield has a more detailed spec listing for products. You know, i really wish there was a spreadsheet of "diminishing return". For instance If I have a 5k avr and i pair it with speakers that cost 500 bucks, I'm most likely not going to hear the...

    Need a push: Cinema 60, or Denon x3700,x3800, x4700

"In terms of sound quality in general, all those models mentioned so far are all so similar, so decision based on price is a wise decision imo" Peng, This has been the most helpful responses I have ever seen on a audio forum. I think I'm going to go with the x3800.

Looking at the Marantz Cinema 60

I do get hung up on these things. Now my locale dealer has the Cinema 50 for 1,500 with 5 year warranty. I should just get a Quasar boombox.

Looking at the Marantz Cinema 60

I feel that the Cinema 60, is just cheap components in a nice dress. Also feel like I'll be disappointed in the sound quality of anything below the Anthem. I might need a therapist....

I'm fully on board the x3800 train. I may bide my time and see if the price drops.

Narrowed down to Cinema 60 vs. Denon x3800

Yeah, really leaning heavily on the x3800. I really wish the Anthem 540 was more in my budget.

    Need a push: Cinema 60, or Denon x3700,x3800, x4700

The price! Can't pay that much for a avr. I took a risk with the 510 as a refurb and it has been problem free. That was around $800 7 years ago. Used 540's are pushing $1,300. Can't take that risk with out a warranty.

Narrowed down to Cinema 60 vs. Denon x3800

Thanks for the link to the review! And thanks for the input, I should have mentioned that 9 channels are plenty. Currently running 5.1 and not much room for more.

Narrowed down to Cinema 60 vs. Denon x3800

I am really leaning towards the x3800, however the 5 year warranty with the Cinema 60 is hard to beat. I would be pushing Paradigm Monitor 9's version 6 and a svs sb1000 and using use a external smsl dac. I just need some advice from anyone who may own either of these receivers. X3800 is $999...

Thanks a ton! Oh boy, I would love the mrx540. Side note, I have the 510, not 520.

    Need a push: Cinema 60, or Denon x3700,x3800, x4700

I do have another thread along this line but this one is more specific. I'm looking to replace a Anthem MRX 510 with one of the following: Marantz Cinema 60, Denon x3700 or X3800, or X4700.. My goal is to upgrade to HDMI 2.1, but also try to get as close to the sound quality of the Anthem as I...

Looking at the Marantz Cinema 60

Aren't all warranties just an endless circle? But I do see your point there. That is something to consider.

Looking at the Marantz Cinema 60

I did years ago. Had a sr7001 from a4less. It was a straight forward process.

Looking at the Marantz Cinema 60

Hi folks, I'm currently running an Anthem MRX 510 and looking to move on to the Marantz Cinema 60. I'd like to get more current with the hdmi, as the 510 is 1.3. I'd also like to just be able to plug my Roku stick into the receiver so I can achieve the highest level of audio proformance...

    Should I repair a free 4k Samsung?

After taking the set apart the led strips just started working again. Probably a loose connection. Interesting observation, nearly all the diffusers on the right side of the set would come off with the slightest touch. I epoxied them all back on. picture isnt too bad after all.

    Should I repair a free 4k Samsung?

I'm going to open it up and see what's going on. Could be something silly like a disconnected something or another. I guess it was in a kids play room and took a few good hits over the years.

    Should I repair a free 4k Samsung?

Thanks. I do kinda want to do it just for fun. But also don't want to waste $60 bucks.

    Should I repair a free 4k Samsung?

I received a free Samsung un55js7000f but the lower quarter is dim. Led's are out. I'm on the fence about Replacing the led's. Their about $60 but the portion of the screen that works, doesn't seem to have a very sharp picture. It seems like a crappy TV, and not worth the hassle to repair. Any...
