Just finished getting Atmos front heights installed. Initially wanted to do ceiling speakers but no access from above. Perfect timing for Super Bowl.

On an Atmos soundtrack on Netflix are the .4 Atmos speakers only playing 2 different audio channels or do most Atmos movies have 4 different discrete audio channels ?

Good point, the 4 Atmos speakers are all 8ohm speakers. The cost of upgraded to a 9 channel AVR is pretty significant. I guess my options are to double up and run 2 speakers off each height channels (so .4 Atmos off 2 height channels). Or what if I use a Y splitter out of the Height pre...

Yes I have subscription. I get Atmos in the basement on my 5.1.2 set up. I’m playing a vidieo game on Xbox (madden) then on Netflix I’m streaming through from fire cube. Display Samsung 65inch curved display

It’s an older Xbox one 500gb console. Said I had to get the dolby app to get Atmos for games. Netflix is being played on Fire Cube second gereration via Netflix app

No clue did I? I noticed in the receiver in living room there was a setting dhcp and it was off. The receiver I have in the basement had DHCP turned on and the basement had no issues. Once I changed this setting it worked.

After a lot of trouble shooting it is now solved. I had to turn DHCP from off to auto and it finally works.
