We're watching the season finale tonight!

I preferred the 1S to the SB3000 and much preferred it to the SB4000. I could never get the SB4000 to sound natural in my room ( always sounded bottom heavy with a lack of midbass).

I wasn't a fan, it was ok up until episode 5. I barely made it through the last two episodes. Silo, Foundation, The Expanse etc. were all better shows IMO. *I haven't read the books, so this opinion is based solely on the show.

Just got back from date night, this was one of the best movies I've seen in awhile. 9.5/10 The movie theater we watched it at left something to be desired. Least of which was a blown right rear surround speaker that was pretty distracting.

Find a well measured speaker and then EQ with Audyessy to taste. You can roll off the highs manually through the Multi-EQ app.

We're 3 episodes in, not 100% sold on it yet but this last episode was the best one so far.

Well, I got the very last pre-order they had available.

From my understanding it just a dsp boost of the lower end of the frequency range of the sub. I found going more than 3/4 caused it to sound a little muddy (I was getting good room gain to begin with). The good thing is you can play with if after calibration so it won't mess up Audyessy/Dirac.

I already like it for its taller and less deep profile!

Congrats, they are pretty awesome! Mess around with the room size compensation until you find the sweet spot. I ended up between 1/2 and 3/4. I can't imagine how heavy those are with the ferrite driver. I had the B&C and it's around 25lbs lighter I believe.

The 680's arrived. They do sound very similar to the 580's I had without looking like darth Vader's stepchild. I have some parts express outriggers coming for them too, don't like the feet they come with.

Try some Wharfedale Lintons. They are definitely not harsh or bright.
