Not true. Warranties can be had for 5 years. In case of ATI 7 years. Oh and then there are the superior bench measurements easily recognized by using math.

Parasound was sold by it's founder in December 2022. I'd guess that it will not survive despite the new owner. Once class D amplification became a mature design, all older designs got notice that they had to find new ways to cut costs, join the class D bandwagon, or go the way of the dodo bird.

I agree everettT whoever told you Class AB amps were superior has outdated information—at least a decade’s worth. Class D from hypex and purifi offer the best measurements. Being more efficient they are also much smaller, much lighter and are much cooler running.

Oh, right. I was looking at their $8K SDR-35 AVR, which is class-G, and I assumed their 9100-AVR was also class-G. So their class D and G must be very small and light.

I have five class D two channel amps and at least one sub plate amp. I can't tell any particular difference with my class AB or G amps. Don't know what you expect in terms of dynamic range or "clarity" whatever that is.
