XTZ Cinema 3X12 Subwoofer Review: Best Value in High Performance Subs?

RBH is launching an SV version of their SX-1212P/R sub to be sold online at a significantly lower price so that should bridge the gap a bit. Regardless, the XTZ offering is really incredible at this price and the trial period is really unbelievable!

XTZ Cinema 3X12 Subwoofer Review: Best Value in High Performance Subs?

The XTZ Cinema Series 3X12 subwoofer is one of the most powerful subwoofers we’ve ever tested. As soon as I had a chance to really get into the nuts and bolts of the 3X12, I could tell this was a serious product from a highly capable speaker company. It proved to be unflappable no matter what...

    Axiom M100 v4 speakers

The explanation is Audyssey is often unpredictable and results vary depending on how the system interacts with the speakers and room interface and where you measure the results. EQing above the room transition frequency (300Hz) is a tricky proposition. I didn't have optimal sub placement for...

    Axiom M100 v4 speakers

No the graphs are correct. You can see the Audyssey and Audyssey with Dynamic EQ graphs are louder than the graph with no EQ. I never seen such a rise in level before with Audyssey either. You could clearly hear how much louder it was too. It was a disappointing result to say the least.

Wow. the spam that shows up here at night is incredible.

We changed the registration process verification to a key capcha where a user has to physically move parts of an image to complete the image, it’s a bit annoying to be honest but at the same time it will help us understand if its human spammers or bots we are dealing with, If we continue to...

Design of Subwoofers location in Media Room.

In order of best, I'd suggest, Option 4, 5 and 1. Your room isn't 100% symmetrical so it will take some experimenting. Make sure you configure all of your subs to play a mono summed bass + LFE mix from your AV receiver and bass manage the rest of your speakers. If you can get mic and preamp...

Wow. the spam that shows up here at night is incredible.

yea ever since we moved to Xenforo, I notice we have more spammers. They almost always come out at night and usually from the Middle East. I'm not sure what the solution is but I will ping my web developer to look into this. Kudos to the mods for helping with this. You have my sincere thanks!

Bookshelf vs Tower Speakers: Which Should I Get?

So what's the problem? If you're happy with the sound, who cares what someone that reads Stereophile says? Sounds like you chose a high output midsized bookshelf that is blending well with your subs. Bravo!

Bookshelf vs Tower Speakers: Which Should I Get?

A common question we often get asked by our readers is “which should I get,a bookshelf or floorstanding speaker?” There is no absolute answer as it really depends on many variables (ie. budget, listening habits, bass management, room size, aesthetics). We break this down for you in this...

Can Objective Loudspeaker Measurements Predict Subjective Preferences?

Floyd, I'm hoping Harman demos the M2s at CEDIA via two-channel so I can finally take a close listen. Why you still messing with antiquated tone controls? We have Automatic room EQ and I hear it's wonderful :)

Spyro Gyra: Love and Other Obsessions (1995) CD Review

Number 2 in a 4 part series, this is my favorite Spyro Gyra release (followed closely by Heart of the Night) of the 1990's. It didn't hurt that Love and Other Obsessions rose above a string of very pedestrian releases leading up to it. While the song selections are hit or miss (there are several...
