I think the Rosewood finish looks better than the black considering your lower wall and floor is a similar color.

It's a really nice looking sub. Nice review. IMO, the Flight of the Phoenix scene is one of the best I ever heard, especially when the plane rolls and you can feel the vibration of the plane grow in sequence.

What about the new HSU ULS15. Wouldn't placing 4-6 sub wirelessly reduce a lot of clutter? You know you gotta get at least one of those just to see how they compare to the Ultra.

I was going to mention that too. That sounds pretty high. If he needs to do that to get bass, I think he should have opted for the PB12 Plus the Ultra.

Billy, take it from someone who owns the 20-39+ and RC30s, unless you place the sub directly behind one of the towers, it just looks wrong. It really dwarfs the towers.

I think my issue with this sub is mostly that it doesn't seem to do as well as I expected in the 30-50hz range, where the powerful bass is? It seems to do the low bass quite well, but the impact from explosions, etc seems to be lacking.

It seems like the PC13 ultra is tuned to around 22-23hz. Does anyone what what the correct tuning is for the 20-39PC+, I'm guessing it's not at 20hz either?

Here it is. It's hard to get pics without moving the sub so this is the best I can do.

I know what one of the problems was. I had the phase set to 90 and when it should have been at 180. The other was the receiver's sub volume was set too high by the YPAO. Now it's nice and tight on the low end and there's no boominess. Also, does anyone know why the BASH amp has a 25hz...
