    Klipsch RP-1400SW 14" at $700 or RSL 12S 12" at $800 or Monolith M15 used $750. Who wins?

Your third choice in the title didn't make it to the main part of the message (Monolith M15 used)....and that would probably be my choice if its in good shape and local purchase. V.1 or V.2?

    Subwoofers comparison

This comes up from time to time. Monolith has also said, recently, that they will ship a replacement amp if they are available. *shrugs It’s hard to know what the truth is. Failures are always amplified… Bad pun? …whereas the happy customer will rarely say anything more.

    Monolith 13" vs 15" V2 (Measurement Discrepancies?)

The dual Monolith 15" V2s arrived on Thursday. I spent a couple hours running sweeps in REW to find the least compromised positioning as simply placing them where the Hsu subs were did not result in nearly the same summed response (it was a mess). Once that was finished, I simply ran them...

This dude makes good points in totally trashing Dolby Atmos...

I guess if you are satisfied with a relatively crude installation. I think my wife would nix box speakers on the ceiling in any room. That would be a bridge too far.

Yamaha AVENTAGE 2021 AV Receivers Bulk Up on Power and 8K Features

Yamaha historically is slow as heck. I remember when Denon came out with the AVP-A1, Yamaha didn't even have an AVP. It took Yamaha a few years after Denon before Yamaha came out with their own AVP. Marantz just came out with their AV-10. So give Yamaha about 3 or 4 years after that. :D

best sub $1000 floor speakers for music?

I will vouch for the Monolith 460s. Really noticed the soud effects of the L/R on those being very special. Shady would probably be able to say why. But I think they are good towers. But I'm 100% TV/Streaming/Movies so I really didn't play music on them but don't see why they would not be good...

    Klipsch RP-1400SW 14" at $700 or RSL 12S 12" at $800 or Monolith M15 used $750. Who wins?

The Monolith would be a solid option. You will always run into potential Amp problems regardless who you order from. I haven't really heard too many problems recently, but there is no telling how old that Sub actually is, whether it would be concerning or not. If you are truly considering this...

    Monolith 13" vs 15" V2 (Measurement Discrepancies?)

I can't explain the discrepancy between Erin and my own measurements. I don't think that the 15" has more mid-bass than the 13" though. The 13" has double the wattage. Also note that my own measurements for the 15" and monoprice's measurements are fairly close. You can't go wrong with either...

Well you did say "Monolith makes decent products though. They aren't RSL. " So I thought the between the lines message was very clear but ok then. Thanks

The Denon X2800H doesn't fit into my budget which I've actually already increased a bit. So far, the setup is as follows: 3 x Monolith by Monoprice Audition C5 Center Channel Speaker – USD 300 2 x Monolith by Monoprice Audition B5 Bookshelf Speaker – USD 90 1 x Monoprice SW-15 15in 600 Watt...

If they all, online store fronts start charging for return shipping, it could hurt them with lost sales. I had a feeling that would happen. Once they cornered the market from the Brick-and-Mortar stores.

    Monoprice Monolith M-215, $1,900 each

Anyone who is interested in impulsively buying a large and enormously heavy subwoofer has a great opportunity with the Monolith M-215. This has to be the bang-for-the-buck king at the moment since it fully doubles the performance of the 15" THX Ultra for only $400 more at the moment. Insanely...

Going Dual, add another sealed or replace with dual ported subs?

...handily outperform the old sealed ultra. It’s also time to forget about the ol sealed for music thing lol. That ship has sailed. HSU, and monolith are great performers as well, and offer more value, IMO, than svs does. However even a pair of PC2k’s would improve deep bass. If you want to...

SVS PB-1000 Pro or Monolith M-12 for Sony STRHD590

Both great subs, but I would go with the Monolith. It does have a performance advantage in the low end. But it is much larger and heavier.

    Monolith Encore T6

I have a pair of these speakers. Running them in a 2-channel setup with a Yamaha A-S801. Very pleased with the sound. What are your thoughts on the speakers? Are any of you listening to them in your rig? Two thumbs up, in my opinion.:):)

that's not apples for apples comparison. MK442 equivalent would be Audition C4, which has the same sensitivity (85.4dB)
