Go to the specs of your equipment and add up the current rating. You divide the max power consumption by 120 volts to get the current. Add them all together and add 20% for odd peaking and you will know what you have to do.

The RSL, Monolith, and Hsu all have their strengths. I don't think the Monolith or RSL would be a step down from the Rythmik, but they probably would not match the Hsu sub in overall performance.

Performance wise, they are similar....build wise, I don't have a Monolith to compare. Shady says both are very well made. But, you don't see RSL discounting to the extreme like Monolith and Klipsch do. That says something....to me anyhow.
