Ok getting right to the point.. Wilson speakers are wayyyyyyy over priced for what they produce in sound. So if Wilson puts out tripe like this, why should any one take him seriously about being subjectively qualified to pick something out that sounds good to my ears? The term subjective is just...

I would take these in a heartbeat and definately choose these over anything Wilson Audio produces, especially their Watt Puppies at a cool 100K and a frequency response curve that looks like the surface of the moon. Compared to the Wilson's, these are a bargain.

I emailed Jim asking him how the NXG sub compares to the Rythmik LV-12R and he stated that Rythmik is a much better sub and that it should be for twice the price. That being said, I think the SB2000 will outperform the LV12-R. The NXG is an excellent sub for the money and a better alternative...

I concur not so much about the bragging rights but more so for the fact that Wilson does not provide meaningful specs for any of their products and many of their products have had poor measurement results by audio reviewers.

Expensive speakers doesn't necessarily equate to quality. If you take a look at the garbage coming out of Wilson Audio or Vienna Acoustic.. their frequency response is analogous to a ski hill filled with moguls. Combine that with their absurd asking price ...:rolleyes: I'd rather the Axioms...

I disagree.Take look at the frequency response of Wilson speakers, particularily the Watt Puuppy. At $200K I would expect a linear response but I can gather a dozen speakers in the $700 to $1500 dollar range that measure much flatter and have a better off axes response. Audiophiles are NOT...
