Seriously, I have no life.
I have a pair of Met Stadium seats here. Seat numbers 1 & 2. Super rare collectors items. Only God knows what famous people might have sat in those seats. Heck, if you ever saw the Twins or Vikings at Met Stadium, maybe YOU sat there!View attachment 80150
Before Milwaukee County Stadium was demolished, they sold seats, fixtures and other items as memorabilia and some of the seats were attached in groups of four. The hosts of a local radio station morning show occasionally call celebrities and one day around that time, they called Hammerin' Hank Aaron. They mentioned the availability of the seats and asked if he might by some- his answer was "I'll have to ask my wife about that". The King of Home Runs had to ask his wife?

These were my brother Kevin's. He was a big Twins fan. He was at game 6 of the '87 World Series. That was the massive Kirby Puckett game. He went 4 for 4 with a walk, four runs and a stolen base. His heroic endeavors in that game forced a game 7, which of course if memory serves, we won! That was at the Metrodome though. When Kevin passed, I got his Met Stadium seats.
Btw, my dad was a the chief pressman at Horner Waldorf in the Midway area of St. Paul. He printed these and I still have a stack. Only one left though that is not die-cut and scored. That one is a keeper. I should have had him sign the back of each one. I have given about 20 of them away over the years.
