I have Yamaha RX A840 AV Receiver which I now use in my garage.
Unfortunetly I messed up the net radio settings and will no longer play as the vtuner is not supported now, everything else works tuner, airplay and server.
But would like to get net radio working again for Radio Paradise etc to work again.
Is it a question of reset can't seem to find any answers has someone overcome this problem?

vtuner I think changed terms
That's the problem with relying on these built-in apps/services in pricey products. The main product [be it an AVR, TV set, etc.] often outlives them! I always try to keep all my apps limited to an outboard, inexpensive box (like my Roku) I don't mind having to some day chuck swap/upgrade.

HTPCs are even better.

I have looked into this for you. Your receiver is on the list of not being able to be updated to Yamaha's new Internet radio provider. So, your tuner will no longer receive Internet radio. So your only option is to use an external Internet radio receiver. There are no other options.

I never touch it but I just accessed the net tuner on my old Yamama AVR (c.2017) and it still picks up stations. Sorry, I have no idea what the service is and my examination of the various info screens didn't seen to mention any specific service either. Anyways, maybe Yamaha switched to an alternate service and by doing a firmware upgrade you'll be able to get some new carrier? Maybe?

His model is unfortunately on the list of one that can not be upgraded by firmware for their new system.

I have not generally used the internet radio functions on my avrs (including vtuner) and have had several Sony players just lose support of all internet apps. Welcome to product churn :) It's so easy to use a phone and wifi to connect via dlna to many receivers, and gives you more options....
