My better half and I caught Rick Braun's tribute to Chuck Mangione live a couple weeks ago in a decent concert hall, and I must say Rick absolutely killed it! If you have a chance to catch this tribute tour in your area and you enjoy his style, don't miss it. Thirteen-piece band, with a 3-piece horn section not counting Rick. We've been fans of Rick for years, and have enjoyed him live multiple times, but he took it to a whole new level with this show.
We also picked up a CD copy of his new album - also a Mangione tribute with most of the same songs - and it's also phenomenal, absolutely my favorite of his releases. If you're unable to catch the show and you're a fan, pick up a copy of the album. You'll LOVE it!
